The BBC and ITV have confirmed their broadcast picks for the UEFA European Championships 2024 in Germany this summer.
The two free-to-air broadcasters both hold rights to the international men’s football tournament and will share the broadcast packages, with Euro 2020 finalist England featuring across both channels.
England’s first two group games, against Serbia and Denmark, are set to be televised on the BBC, with the final Group C match against Slovenia on ITV.
Meanwhile, hosts Germany’s game against Scotland on 14th June will be on ITV, with Steve Clarke’s sides other Group A matches – against Switzerland and Hungary – on the BBC.
Wales still need to qualify for the tournament via the play offs in March. If successful, their group games against Frances and the Netherlands will also be on the BBC.

As the competition progresses, the BBC will have first choice for the quarter-finals, while ITV will have the first pick of the last-16 ties and semi-finals.
Both broadcasters have the rights to broadcast the final.
Philip Bernie, head of content at BBC Sport, commented, “With the UEFA European Championship, the Paris Olympics and Wimbledon all on the BBC next year, our summer of sport promises to be very memorable.
“We’re proud that the BBC will once again bring audiences comprehensive coverage and analysis of the whole event across TV, radio and online, ensuring fans, wherever they are, can enjoy it all.”
Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport, added, “This deal keeps the Euros available on free to air television for viewers for the coming years. Having delivered the biggest ever UK single channel football audience of 27.6 million at last year’s Euros’, for England’s semi-final victory over Denmark, we’re looking forward to bringing to the widest audiences the very best coverage of tournaments that have such broad appeal.”
