Premier League football club AFC Bournemouth has announced a partnership with Asset Alliance. 

The commercial vehicle leasing company will become an official partner of The Cherries. 

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director of AFC Bournemouth, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Asset Alliance as an Official Partner of the club.

Playfly Sports has expanded into the European market by acquiring London-based Evolution Sports.

Playfly is a US-based sports media and marketing technology business that works with several NBA, NHL, MLB, and NCAA teams.

Dan Lipman and Archie Woodhead, who founded events and production agency Evolution Sport just last year, will assume the positions of Co-Managing Directors, leading Playfly’s European Operations. 

Dan Lipman, said, “Huge thanks to the entire Playfly team and of course Archie and our valued clients for making this possible. 

What Playfly has achieved since 2020 is astonishing, and we’re eager to contribute our expertise to this exciting journey!”


Aston Martin Formula 1 team has launched a new partnership with Spinal Track, a charity dedicated to giving fully funded track and rally experiences to disabled drivers.

Spinal Track provides specially adapted cars developed by racers who ‘understand the wants and needs of disabled car enthusiasts.’

Mike Krack, Team Principal of Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, said, “It is a charity Aston Martin Aramco is proud to support and together they will help ensure our new AMR Technology Campus is more accessible and inclusive for colleagues and visitors. We have some wonderful initiatives planned in the months ahead, starting with bringing Spinal Track behind-the-scenes to our car debut on 12 February at Silverstone.”

Nathalie McGloin, Co-Founder of Spinal Track, added, “I am excited to be working with Aston Martin Aramco. This is a team that wants to operate as a responsible business and the programme we have formulated together really speaks to their ambition for the future.

London-based sports marketing agency Right Formula has been appointed by Vodka brand NEFT to activate its official partnership with Visa Cash App RB, the Formula 1 team formerly known as Alpha Tauri.

EFL League One football club Barnsley has appointed Mladen Sormaz as the club’s new Sporting Director. 

As the club’s first-ever Sporting Director, Mladen joins the Reds from 777 Partners, where he was responsible for identifying players for multiple clubs across an international portfolio of teams which include Genoa, Standard Liege and Hertha Berlin.

Mladen, who has also worked for Leicester City, will head up football operations for Barnsley, which includes negotiating incoming and outgoing transfers as well as player contract offers across the Men’s and Women’s sides. 

Mladen Somraz, said, “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Barnsley, as someone from not too far away, I’ve grown up around a lot of Barnsley fans and understand the scale of the club and the passion of support. I’m honoured to have the responsibility to be the club’s first Sporting Director.

“My interactions with the Club during the recruitment process have been very positive. The staff and directors I’ve spoken to have left an impression on me, and I’ve been really impressed with how they operate.

“I’m excited to get started, meet everyone and will be fully focused helping support Neill and the first team in the promotion push for this last, vital part of the season.”
