The third and final Sport Industry Socials event of 2023, ‘Through the Ages: Sports Gaming’ will take place on Wednesday 1st November at Downstairs at the Department Store in Brixton, London.
This is an amended date (previously set for 4th October) due to train and tube strikes.
Sport Industry Socials is a series of events that focuses on trending topics within the industry and is ideal for anyone working in sport who wants to expand their knowledge and network at the same time.
To sign off for 2023, we’re inviting you on a trip down memory lane to explore the long-running relationship between gaming and sport.
The night of nostalgia will see a South London gallery packed full of history’s greatest gaming consoles, with special guest speakers debating how the two industries have become so intertwined.
From Pong to Mike Tyson’s Punch Out!!, to Wii Sports and EA Sports FC, you’ll have the unique opportunity to fire up all your favourite games of the past and explore a space that continues to rapidly evolve.
