IPSWICH TOWN TURNS TO TOM BRADY TRAINING

English Football League One (EFL) club Ipswich Town has announced a new partnership with health and wellness brand TB12.

TB12 is the holistic health and wellness company that is based on the training regimen of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his long-time body coach, Alex Guerrero.

The agreement sees the TB12 body coach in frequent communication with the medical team at Playford Road, the training ground of The Tractor Boys. As well as bi-monthly visits to assist the progress and development of the medical department.

Brady’s wellness company is built on the TB12 method, a series of healthy daily habits across five key pillars: pliability, nutrition, hydration, movement, and mental fitness.

Andy Rolls, Director of Performance at Ipswich Town, said, “We’re so grateful to be the first UK football club working in partnership with TB12.

“Their methods and skillset have benefited the recovery of our players and will play a key role throughout the season and beyond.”

Greg Perry, TB12 Senior Vice President of Services, added, “At TB12, we have a unique opportunity to help reshape the way professional sports teams approach injury prevention and recovery.

“Our body coaches have broad experience working with many of the world’s best athletes across a variety of sports and levels, and what we’ve done for these athletes is the same thing we do for all of our clients – we help them live pain-free and perform their best with an emphasis on pliability.”

Across his 23 seasons in the league, the most for any National Football League (NFL) quarterback, Brady has won seven Super Bowls. The franchise record is held by both the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers with six Super Bowls each.

Ipswich Town currently sit second in League One and recently extended its partnership with UK home design and installation company KBB Centre.
