Extreme E and broadcasting giant Warner Bros. Discovery have inked a multi-year renewal that will see the global off-road racing series remain on Eurosport.
The deal includes live race coverage in local languages, as well as highlights and on-demand content, and spans more than 50 territories across Europe.
Eurosport will remain a partner of the championship when it undergoes its rebrand to Extreme H from 2025.
The Discovery+ streaming platform will also broadcast Extreme E across Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme E, said,“[Eurosport’s] global reach has allowed us to highlight key climate issues at our race locations alongside the exciting racing action.
“This new multi-year deal will cement our ability to showcase our unique gender-equal talented driver line-ups within our teams, as well as green technology and our sustainability efforts to an engaged audience.
“As we sit in Eurosport’s sustainable motorsport portfolio, we can also continue the effort in promoting green mobility, which is the future.”
Warner Bros. Discovery’ motorsport rights portfolio also includes Formula E, as well as Le Mans and the Endurance World Championship.
