PT SPORTSUITE ANNOUNCES FAN STREAM TV

Digital sports consultancy PT SportSuite has launched Fan Stream TV, a sports video OTT platform for rightsholders looking for a platform to stream live matches to new or existing fan communities.

According to a release, the new product is ‘the latest important step in PT’s mission to establish relationships with sports organisations who previously had very few options available to further monetise match days, acquire new customers and cater for sponsorship activations.’

Together with partners, PT will look to ultimately generate new revenues through pay-per-view services. No tech investment is required on the part of the rights-holder and organisations will have the ability to earn up to 80% of all incoming revenue.

Nick van Rensburg, Head of Engagement at PT SportSuite, said, “Globally, over 40% of today’s digitally-savvy fans are choosing to consume live sports via a digital stream, rather than watch through traditional TV.

“This presents a huge opportunity for rights-holders to open up and grow transactional relationships with fans in new markets or wherever existing broadcast agreements allow.

We can work with rights-holders effectively to open up new revenue streams

“The PT team is confident and energised to take Fan Stream TV to market, knowing we can work with rights-holders effectively to open up new revenue streams and ultimately achieve greater commercial return, sponsor value and sustainability.”

With the product now live, organisations are invited to register for Fan Stream TV’s Partner Programme, with PT committing to work closely with successful applicants to ensure a seamless onboarding journey with Fan Stream TV.
