British professional tennis player Cameron Norrie has signed with UK-based sports management and sponsorship sales business ARETÉ.
Topnotch Management – the US talent agency that represent Britain’s No.1 tennis player – secured the deal with ARTETÉ on behalf of the 27-year-old. Over the last 25 years the London-based business has worked with the likes of Mark Cavendish, Daniel Ricciardo and David Beckham, but Norrie marks its first tennis client.
As part of the new agreement, ARTETÉ will work on developing Norrie’s commercial portfolio and personal brand.
Additionally, Norrie will gain access to ARETÉ’s China subsidiary, VIRTUS, which will look to develop and grow his personal image in China through social media, digital marketing and brand partnerships.
ARETÉ Director and Head of Talent, Jonathan Beckett, commented, “It’s an exciting project for the ARETÉ Team and we can’t wait to start implementing our commercial strategy alongside Cam and Topnotch. We are delighted to be working with Cam who we believe has the attributes to be challenging for Grand Slam titles in the coming years.”
James Beres Agent at Topnotch added, “We at Topnotch are thrilled to be partnering with ARETÉ to work together to continue to develop Cam’s commercial strategy and personal brand. This endeavor with Jonathan and the entire ARETÉ Team will be exciting as we look to continue to find unique partnerships on behalf of the number one male British tennis player.”
Cameron Norrie said of the new partnership, “I am excited for this partnership between myself, ARETÉ, and Topnotch Management. Having the support of the ARETÉ Team in coordination with Topnotch will be extremely beneficial from both a commercial and personal perspective as I work to reach my goal of being world number one.”
