Under terms of the new six-year agreement, which begins in October 2024, Castore will supply the men’s short-form and test squads, the women’s white ball squads, and create a replica gear line for New Zealand cricket supporters.

In signing with NZC, Manchester-based Castore replaces the national governing body’s longstanding apparel partnership with previous supplier, Canterbury of New Zealand (CCC), with the deal marking the company’s first step into the New Zealand sport market.
Similarly, NZC joins a long list of organisations and athletes that Castore currently holds agreements with. These include, the England cricket team, McLaren F1, Rangers FC, Newcastle United, Harlequins and Sir Andy Murray.
Most recently, Castore signed a multi-year agreement with professional cycling team the INEOS Grenadiers.
“There is significant alignment between the values and objectives of NZC, and Castore,” said Chris Smith, NZC GM Commercial. “A partnership with Castore presents opportunities for NZC to better serve the high performance needs of our players, to build on the NZC, Blackcaps and White Ferns brands, and to meet the changing preferences of fans.”
Castore co-founder Tom Beahan, added, “The team play the sport the right way, positive, authentic and with humility, which is everything we strive for as a brand. There is a further similarity with the Blackcaps and White Ferns, as those teams are not afraid to take on the supposed big players in the sport, much like ourselves.”
