The Sport Industry NextGen 2023 Coaches have been officially announced.
Launched by Sport Industry Group in 2015, NextGen is a prestigious professional development programme that provides the best emerging talent in our industry with a tailored year-long leadership package which includes extensive training, personal development, and networking opportunities.
In December, the 30 successful applicants were unveiled and welcomed into the class of 2023.
The Sport Industry NextGen Leaders will now benefit from a year-long programme that focuses on the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and social change, and is led by a specially selected group of Coaches.
Including some of brightest minds and best organisations within sport and business, the Coaches will deliver a number of interactive best-practice, learning, and leadership sessions, offering the Leaders a unique opportunity to learn, grow and build connections.
The line-up of 2023 Coaches includes Paralympic legend Tanni Grey-Thompson, political figure Alastair Campbell, broadcaster and author René Carayol, and sports business professional Preeti Shetty.
Speaking on the Coaches announcement, Sport Industry Group Managing Director, Dylan Pugh, said, “I am delighted to see the latest group of Sport Industry NextGen Coaches announced.
With a focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and social change across this year’s programme, we have brought together a wide breadth of experience and expertise across those areas.
We are excited to welcome the Coaches joining Sport Industry NextGen for the first time, as well as those that return to the team from last year’s programme.”
