McLaren Racing has extended its partnership with Hilton.
The multi-year renewal will see the hospitality company continue as the global hotel partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
The latest agreement also makes Hilton McLaren Racing’s longest-standing current partner, with the collaboration celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025.
As per the deal, ‘Hilton. For the Stay.’ branding will continue to be featured on the McLaren MCL38, team kit and driver overalls of McLaren Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
In addition, the global hotel brand will continue to provide accommodation for the team, as well as offering McLaren fans a range of ‘content and experiences.’
The relationship will also sees Hilton Honors members gain access to a variety of McLaren Formula 1 experiences. In 2023, this included hosting Hilton’s Stay on the Grid at its trackside hotels in Las Vegas and Silverstone.
Another activation, A Night at McLaren, saw 28 guests enjoy a one-night experience at the McLaren Technology Centre, staying in their own bespoke bedroom and taking part in a variety of McLaren hosted activities, including Pit Stop Challenge and access to McLaren’s eSports studio. This activation was recently shortlisted in the Experiential Marketing Award for the FEVO Sport Industry Awards 2024.

Matt Dennington, Executive Director, Partnerships & Accelerator, McLaren Racing, said, “It’s fantastic to extend this long-standing partnership with Hilton and reach a 20-year milestone together next year. Hilton is renowned for providing world-class experiences for its guests, and we are fortunate enough to call Hilton home as the team travels around the world.”
Mark Weinstein, Chief Marketing Officer, Hilton, added, “Formula 1 is a sport always on the go – so we’re proud to be where McLaren Racing stays. Our Team Members are honoured to deliver the best of the Hilton stay experience to the McLaren Formula 1 Team, and along the way to create some truly incredible experiences and content for Papaya fans and our Hilton Honors members around the world.
“We celebrated a particularly exciting year in 2023, bringing guests and fans to the heart of the action with once-in-a-lifetime experiences at more races than ever before – including our Stay on the Grid at the first ever Las Vegas Grand Prix. We’re thrilled to continue to expand our long-standing and successful partnership and we have even more opportunities planned than ever before. We wish the McLaren team all the best for an exciting season ahead!”
