Red Bull Racing has penned a long-term renewal of its supplier partnership with British sportswear brand Castore.
The team says the renewal is worth more than $200m (£157.2m) over its duration, and is the most lucrative supplier contract in the history of Formula One.
Under the agreement, Castore will continue to provide racing apparel for Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
Through the expansion of the original deal signed in 2023, Castore will also supply the Red Bull Academy Programme from the start of the 2024 F1 Academy season. The brand’s logo will feature on the racewear of Red Bull’s three drivers in the all-female racing series, namely Emely De Heus, and Amna and Hamda Al-Qubaisi.
Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO Christian Horner said, “From the start of our collaboration with Castore last year we knew we had found a partner whose commitment to innovation and advanced engineering matched our own and the trust we have in them to deliver performance improvement has only increased over the past 12 months and has led to this record-breaking new agreement.
“We’re also pleased that Castore’s faith in the team has extended to our activities in F1 Academy. That too is a ground-breaking initiative and having Castore on board to help our drivers in that series is a huge bonus.”
Castore’s growing partnership portfolio also includes fellow Formula One team McLaren Racing. Outside of motorsport, the Manchester-based brand counts Premier League clubs Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Wolves among its partners, as well a British tennis legend Sir Andy Murray, England Cricket, and Premiership Rugby sides Saracens and Harlequins.
