Selecting the Sport Industry NextGen Leaders
11) The first round of the Competition will consist of a Selection Process by the named individuals who are a pre-selected group of industry leaders (the “Coaches”) as may be listed on the Competition Website and industry experts (“the Selection Committee”) as selected by the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to add or remove an individual to/from the Coaches and/or Selection Committee at its absolute discretion.
12) The Selection Committee will review the entries from all the valid Competition entries using the criteria as listed in paragraph 36 (“Criteria”). The Selection Committee will then select the successful entrants (the “Leaders”), creating a group totalling approximately 30 Sport Industry NextGen Leaders. The Organiser reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of Leaders selected. Both the Selection Committee and the Coaches are appointed and coordinated by the Organisers. Both are carefully selected to ensure that the process is fair and objective, free of bias or influence. Where appropriate, the members of both the Selection Committee and the Coaches are bound by confidentiality obligations and are required to declare any conflict of interest in entries over which they deliberate and to stand aside from deliberations concerning those entries.
13) The Organiser will notify the Leaders by Thursday 14th December, and will on notification confirm the dates and locations and times required for the first gathering of the chosen Leaders (the “The Kick-Off”) where they will participate in a range of leadership development and network building exercises.
