SPORT INDUSTRY NEXTGEN

SPORT INDUSTRY NEXTGEN 2024 APPLICATIONS OPEN

Applications for the Sport Industry NextGen 2024 programme have officially opened.

Launched by Sport Industry Group in 2015, NextGen is a prestigious professional development programme that provides the best emerging talent in our industry with a tailored year-long leadership package which includes extensive training, personal development and networking opportunities.

In 2024, the NextGen programme will continue to focus on four core pillars that structure the programme – innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and social change. As such, individuals with experience in any of these fields are encouraged to complete the application process.

Open to those based in the UK and under the age of 30, successful applicants have direct access to some of the brightest minds and best organisations within sport and business through interactive best-practice, learning, and leadership sessions.

With 30 applicants admitted each year, the Sport Industry NextGen Leaders alumni network includes almost 250 individuals who are forging a new future for our industry.

Sport Industry Group Managing Director, Dylan Pugh, said, “I’m delighted to announce that the applications for next year’s NextGen are now open. It’s been a pleasure spending time with the 2023 cohort and I look forward to welcoming the next 30 NextGen Leaders in the new year.

“After the introduction the four key pillars of innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and social change in 2023, we are so excited to continue to focus on these areas for the latest cohort. As we strive to grow and develop tomorrow’s leaders of our sector, the topics perfectly represent the key trends shaping the sport industry’s future.”
