McLaren Racing has announced a new partnership with global payments and financial platform Airwallex.
The deal makes London-based Airwallex an official partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team from the start of the 2024 season.
The multi-year partnership, which has been described as ‘technology-focused’, will see McLaren use Airwallex’s platform to support financial operations and deliver ‘efficiencies in the team’s multi-currency transactions to unlock new opportunities and scale globally.’
As per the agreement, Airwallex branding will be featured on the halo of the McLaren MCL38, as well as the overalls of McLaren Formula 1 Drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri for the upcoming 2024 season.
