DP WORLD TOUR AND LUKE WILLETT SET WORLD RECORD

PGA professional golfer Luke Willett has teamed up with DP World Tour to set the world record for the fastest 9-hole round of golf by an individual – 20 minutes and 12 seconds.


The record-breaking performance took place on the Fire Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, just ahead of the DP World Tour Championship getting underway on Thursday 16th November.

The British no.1 speed golfer broke the record with just the use of a 3 wood, 6 iron, and pitching wedge.

Willett, commented, “I am absolutely thrilled to have set this Guinness World Record for the fastest 9-hole round of golf.
