McLaren Racing has announced its third official partner of the week after agreeing a deal with Ecolab.

Ecolab, which offers water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions, will support McLaren on its sustainability target of net zero emissions for the upcoming 2024 season.

The multi-year partnership with Ecolab will also ‘support the development of a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) programme to accelerate McLaren’s overall strategy of decarbonising its Formula 1 logistics and operations.’

As per the agreement, Ecolab branding will feature on the team kit of McLaren Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri for the 2024 season.

Zak Brown, Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Racing, said, “We are delighted to welcome Ecolab to the McLaren Racing family, and this is a partnership built on shared goals. The early adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel is a great step forward in our efforts to take positive climate action and this collaboration will enable us to explore credible options to reduce the emissions from our race logistics.

“It is also a signal to the aviation industry that there is demand for them to accelerate their decarbonisation plans and increase the supply of SAF.”

Christophe, Beck, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Ecolab, added, “Ecolab’s 47,000 associates across more than 170 countries love being part of a high-performing team that delivers for customers.

“The partnership with McLaren will help us recognise our associates for their contributions to our commercial success, while creating new ways for us to work together on shared technology, innovation and sustainability goals.”

Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team has partnered with the Financial Times.

The deal between the two British brands will see the Financial Times collaborate with Aston Martin on ‘hosting key clients at Grand Prixs across the globe.’

The deal will see the Financial Times logo feature on the AMR24 racing car, which will make its debut at Silverstone Circuit on 12th February.

Jefferson Slack, Managing Director – Commercial & Marketing, Aston Martin Formula 1 Team, said, “The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team is delighted to launch a new partnership with the Financial Times, a publication renowned for its authoritative coverage of global business and finance. Together, we’ll be working strategically to grow and strengthen our commercial reach, collaborating on exclusive activations throughout the year. The FT is a trusted source of business and financial information around the world and we welcome them to Aston Martin Aramco.”
